Happy 4th Birthday, Us! |

Yep, 4 years. It goes by fast, don't it? To kick off this little Birthday post, we're gonna have ourselves a contest. Two contests actually, but more on that below.
IKP Anniversary Quiz!
In honor of our 4th birthday, we put together a little trivia quiz. These are all questions you can figure out with a little time. But don't take too long, because the first person to send me a PM with all 4 correct answers will win a secret prize. We'll be able to divulge what it is someday, specifically when Lost Cause 20 gets close to release. And the questions are:
Name the first episode in which Morris refers to Marsh as "Goat boy".
Name the two sides fighting each other in USSR Recruitment Video.
Name the two "operations" the Covenant uses in Lost: Halostyle Episode 13.
Name the first episode of Lost filmed in Halo 3.

IKP's Top 10 IKP videos....
We decided it might be fun to look back and make a list of our 10 favorite videos. Keep in mind this is just our opinion, so feel free to disagree. Starting at #10 and counting down to #1, first up:
- Lost: Halostyle 10 "the Ultimatum
This episode makes it into the top ten for one reason: the confrontation between the humans and Covenant. This is one of our all-time favorite scenes, and the way all the character building we had done up to that point all comes together very nicely. And we still find it quite funny, as well.
- Lost Cause 19 "Knight to C3"
We really like this episode for a number of reasons. Some of which are: It's the most professional and polished episode we have made to date. The writing, cinematography, voice work, special effects, it's all leaps and bounds above our earlier work.

IKP's Birthday Festivities |

This Sunday, September 27th, marks the 4th anniversary of Injured Knee Productions existence. It was 4 years ago we posted our first video, USSR, on Youtube. To mark this joyous occasion, we have a few things planned. The first is a news post consisting of various fun facts, lists (who doesn't love lists?!?) etc. The second is a fun little contest that will test your memory and/or speed-watching abilities. Plus there's a cool prize to be won. Unfortunately I can't divulge what it is yet, but I can tell you when Lost Cause 20 eventually approaches release, you'll be glad to have it. If you don't answer the mystery question first, we'll be drawing for a second winner of the same aforementioned prize. Simply post in the IKP Birthday topic on Sunday and you could win yourself a golden ticket.
The Birthday topic will be posted around 6PM Central time this Sunday.

Halo 3: ODST Tonight! |

So we're gonna go pick up ODST tonight at midnight. First on the agenda is a complete run through campaign on Heroic (4 player coop). Then some Firefight action, and if there's time we might check out the news MP maps. Pepsi and salty snacks abound!
So how about yall? Anyone getting ODST at Midnight? What are you planning to do first?

Lost Cause 20...not happening soon. |

Hey everybody. It's been a while since I've said anything (or visited the site, for that matter). I thought I owed it to everyone to give an explanation as to why there has been no progress on the finale. As you may or may not remember, back in February I started a new job. Since then I am lucky to have two days a week off. In addition, Haloplayer started a job a little over two months ago. In the last two weeks, we've only had one day where we both had the day off. Add in that Intrepid Angel is always busy doing something anymore, and it leaves almost no time for Lost Cause. Which is really depressing, because we were (are?) really excited about the last episode and wanted to finish it quickly for you. Please don't take this post as "LC is over, we never intend to finish it" because we do plan to finish. I just don't know when. Right now we're just trying to do little bits and pieces whenever we can, with one or two of us if possible. Again, I apologize that the series couldn't have ended the way we planned, but life just got in the way.
UPDATED with additional posts:
While I don't disagree with that statement, we (haloplayer and myself) have begun taking steps to correct it. We just finished examining our schedules for the next week or so, and have set aside 24-36 hours for episode 20. If we actually spend that much time working on the episode, we can get a huge amount of work done. Keep in mind that we are both working, so our only free time will be reserved for sleep pretty much. On the plus side, the script has been complete for a long time, so we can get right into the production side of things.
Afterward, I'll let you know how it went.
I also think I should take a moment to explain the situation with our former voice actor, Wavyshadow101. Earlier this year, we had a falling out of sorts. I won't go into detail for privacy reasons, but suffice it to say he is no longer recording lines for us. You might remember that in episode 19 Leslies voice changed to mine. In 20, we will be taking over Ed and Lipton as well. This has been rather difficult for us, not only because we just added a bulk of the voice overs to our workload, but we also have to recreate (and in some cases, reinvent) the character voices. But we are getting it sorted out and it shouldn't be a problem.
Just thought I should give you a heads up on the situation so it's less of a shock when it happens.
Also, IKPs 4th (!) anniversary is coming up on September 27th, and we would like to do something special in time to celebrate. Take that comment as you will
