Got a new comic for y'all!
the Newbs #11 "The Proposal"
Hey guys, we kind of went on a comic making spree last night. We've got two completed comics, plus one that I need to finish. In addition, Duck started what we're going to call "Ted Draws". We're going to try and make them a regular occurrence on the site, so Duck will probably be posting a Ted Draws next week around the same time.

Hey, remember that Lost Commitment contest we ran last year? No...well anyway, we finally sent Keeperofjunk his prize (us, take a long time on something?! Weird, I know). His prize included a signed Lost Cause poster, and he was awesome enough to send us some pictures when he got it.
I think the signatures actually devalued the poster...
Wearin' his "gaming Goggles".

An Update?!? For Reelz??! |

The few of you that are still around might be wondering why we (I) suddenly went dark a few weeks back, so heres the low down. Early this month I finally got a new job. I work in the Home Entertainment division of a major retailer..... thats fancy talk for "electronics department at Walmart"...cough.
For the month of March I've been getting acquainted with my new job, my schedule, trying to figure out where IKP will fit in, and so on. What this means is that we will be getting episode 20 done, but this month it's been really tough to work in any time for it. I'm confident that will change pretty soon, though, as my schedule starts to become more set-in-stone. But just because nothing has happened with episode 20, that doesn't mean I have nothing to mention in this update. So let's get to it.
Lost Cause 19 stats
The numbers for episode 19 on Youtube have been less then stellar, but I have a rather good answer for this one. We didn't get the episode posted on youtube until a week or so ago because of the shitty quality it was giving us. That means many of our youtube fans had already found the episode on this site and watched it through h3press or downloaded it.
Speaking of h3press, LC19 was recently added to the bungie.net blog, and the h3press stream jumped to almost 75,000 views. Thats not too bad for us.
Cut Scene from Episode 19
During production of the episode, we had to cut a small sequence due to technical issues. It involved Druko contacting Captain Ra' Mae via AIM before using Skype. Below is the conversation they would have had. It's not going to be as funny in this context as it would have been in the episode, but I thought some of you might enjoy reading it:
"CUT TO RA’ MAE HAVING AN AIM CONVERSATION WITH DRUKO
DRUKO
Captain Ra’ Mae?
RA’ MAE
Yes, I’m here. Initiate voice chat.
DRUKO
Just a moment......Can you hear me?
RA’ MAE
No. Is your microphone plugged in?
DRUKO
Yes.
RA’ MAE
Did you try running as administrator?
DRUKO
Yes. Blasted Vista!
RA’ MAE
Do you have Skype?
DRUKO
Yes..
RA’ MAE
Switch to Skype.
DRUKO
Very well. Brb.
The chat ends, and ra’ mae receives a Skype call from Druko."
The reason for cutting this was that we couldn't get the text on AIM to show up very well on screen, and the recording was somewhat clunky.
Slow On the Forum Front
The forums have been rather dead lately. Not much to say on this except that most users have become inactive or nearly so. I don't have the time to give it CPR during the slow months, so unless a lot of people start getting active the forum will just have to remain dormant. Or I may decide to shut them down, I dunno. Sorry about the downtime we had this morning. It was something to do with a server move and a file not getting moved along with it.
